UHLED’s COB LED Display series covers three cabinet sizes: 500×500mm for outdoor IP65 installations, 600×337.5mm 16:9 for boardrooms and broadcast studios, and 640×480mm 4:3 for control rooms and security monitoring. All three share the same flip-chip COB packaging and magnetic front service design, so training, spare parts, and maintenance procedures are consistent across the series.
Every UHLED COB LED Display uses flip-chip COB packaging. LED chips are bonded directly to the PCB without wire bonds or exposed solder joints. Heat travels into the die-cast aluminum backplane without fans or vents. This packaging is used across all three models, from the P0.78 indoor cabinet to the P1.95 outdoor cabinet.
The series covers P0.78, P0.93, P1.25, P1.538, P1.56, P1.86, P1.87, and P1.95. Low pitches (P0.78 to P0.93) suit control rooms and command centers where viewers sit 1.0 to 1.5m from the screen. Mid pitches (P1.25 to P1.56) suit conference rooms and retail at 1.5 to 2.5m. Higher pitches (P1.86 to P1.95) suit exhibition halls and outdoor installations at 2.5 to 4m.
All three models use magnetic front-service modules. A single technician can replace a module with a suction tool in seconds. No rear clearance is required, so the display can be mounted flush against a wall. This suits control rooms, conference rooms, and retail interiors where space behind the screen is limited.
UHLED provides a 5-year warranty on key components for COB LED Displays, with technical support and spare parts available.
UHLED operates its own COB packaging line and aging test facility. Every module undergoes aging test before assembly. Every cabinet passes flatness inspection and color calibration before shipment.
UHLED operates a 5,000 m² factory with 120,000 m² annual output and 10,000 m² monthly assembly capacity. Production equipment includes Panasonic MSR and Samsung S2 pick-and-place machines, automatic printing, reflow soldering, and conformal coating. Module and cabinet aging areas cover 100 m² and 600 m² per day.
Support for logo customization, size customization, pixel pitch selection, curvature, and special formats. The engineering team provides design consultation, equipment selection, project quotation, commissioning, and after-sales service.

COB (Chip-on-Board) mounts LED chips directly onto the PCB and encapsulates them under a continuous protective layer. SMD packages each LED in a separate housing with exposed solder joints and wire bonds. COB eliminates wire bonds, reduces failure points, and creates a surface with no visible pixel grid. It also provides better heat dissipation and impact resistance than SMD.
Yes. The continuous encapsulation layer removes the visible pixel grid effect common in SMD screens. Text and data remain legible at 1.5m. This makes COB the preferred technology for boardrooms, retail stores, broadcast studios, and any installation where viewers sit within 2 to 3 meters of the screen.
No. The sealed, non-porous surface repels dust and moisture. Daily cleaning requires only a dry microfiber wipe. If a module needs replacement, the magnetic front-service design allows a swap in under 30 seconds with no tools and no rear access.
With 600 cd/m² brightness and a matte anti-glare coating, COB displays remain readable under conference room downlights and window daylight. The 3840/7680Hz refresh rate and 14/16-bit grayscale eliminate scan lines and flicker on camera. This suits video conferencing, lecture recording, and live broadcast environments.
Yes. Exposed SMD LEDs are vulnerable to knocks, cleaning chemicals, and electrostatic discharge. The COB encapsulation layer protects the entire pixel array from physical impact, dust, and moisture. COB is used in retail floors, museum exhibits, hotel lobbies, and other installations with frequent human traffic or cleaning routines.
No. Flip-chip COB eliminates the thermal resistance of wire bonds and packaging substrates. Heat travels directly into the die-cast aluminum cabinet. This passive cooling design requires no fans, reduces power consumption, and extends LED lifespan to ≥100,000 hours with minimal brightness degradation.
